Closing Down

Alas, my fellow Twilighters, just like the main theme of New Moon Meet Me On The Equinox, "everything ends". Lion-lambforever's first year anniversary on the internet passed on the same day of Jackson Rathbone's (Jasper) birthday: December 21. It has been a great year, full of excitement for the DVD release for Twilight, and the theatrical release for New Moon, but eventually, posting has become a big hassle for me to update every single day. Either I constantly forget or am too lazy to do it. I am only a teenager (a mere sophmore!) so I have accomplished a lot building a website out of scratch and teaching myself HTML and all that crap, but, I AM a teenager, and have more important things to do than constantly blog about what's happening with RPattz, or Kstew (or at least what I think is important to ME). So, after much deliberation, I have finally decided to close down lion-lambforever forever. I will always be a Twilighter, just minus the hassle and work of keeping up a website. I DO hope all of you enjoyed yourselves just as much as I do, if you happen to want to stay and look around the site whenever you want, feel free to, it will still be up but just no updates. Twilight Trio On Moviefone's List Of Top 10 Movie Entertainers of 2009!

Moviefone has put together their list of the Top 10 movie entertainers of 2009 and Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart made #3 on the list. Below is what they had to say about the trio.

Whether we were on Team Edward or Team Jacob, a lot of us couldn’t stop talking all year about ‘Twilight,’ and how last year’s initial installment had whetted our appetite for the vampire/werewolf/teen-girl triangle to come. The stakes were high, but the anticipation paid off in ‘New Moon.’ In a year where pop culture everywhere seemed to be crawling with vampires, these neckbiters were the ones we couldn’t stop obsessing over.

'New Moon' Still Winner In Foreign Box Office

New Moon is still doing pretty good especially for its third week overseas:

With “Avatar” poised to blanket the foreign circuit this week, Summit Entertainment’s “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” is set to end its monthlong rule as the No. 1 title overseas with an estimated weekend gross of $22.3 million from 9,163 screens in 66 markets, raising its offshore cume to $358.7 million.
The offshore circuit is primed for the arrival of “Avatar,” the much-anticipated 3D epic from director James Cameron, which 20th Century Fox will begin rolling out Wednesday. “Avatar” will play some 16,550 foreign screens in about 106 territories with most openings coinciding with the film’s domestic debut Friday.
“New Moon” enjoyed a strong month on top of the foreign charts. Combined with its domestic cume, the teen favorite has racked up a worldwide gross of $626.1 million.

Eclipse To Show On IMAX Theaters!

EEEEEEEKKKK!!!! I'm going to be moving to a new city with an IMAX theater and I'll be able to watch it 3D!!!

Twilight Soundtrack Gets Grammy Nomination

The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards Nominations have been announced and the Twilight Soundtrack is up for Best Compilation Soundtrack Album For Motion Picture. Soundtrack artists, Paramore, are also nominated for Best Song Written For Motion Picture with last year’s smash hit ‘Decode’.

Taylor Lautner On Shirtless Scenes

MTV: There are a lot of shirtless moments in "New Moon," and some critics have called them gratuitous. As an actor, do you find it hard to not also laugh at some of those scenes?

Lautner: [When Jacob] wipes her blood? Seriously, I start laughing so hard every time I see [that scene]. "Oh, you're bleeding? Let me fix it." It's so embarrassing. Here's the thing: There's a reason he's not wearing clothes all the time. When he transforms, all his clothes get shredded; he can't help it. And when he goes into the woods to get something to put on, so he's not naked, it's just a ripped pair of jean shorts. And he's also hot — [his temperature is] 108 degrees, so that's another reason.

MTV: Now that you've got all these muscles, will you only accept those kinds of roles from here on out?

Lautner: Look, I love this character, I love this story. Putting on the weight and not wearing much clothing was required by the role. A year from now, if I love a character that requires me to lose 40 pounds, I'm ready to do it.

Hey Jacob and Taylor fans (no, not Swift)! Mr. Lautner was asked to host Saturday Night Live and he accepted! The episode will be aired on December 12 (ironic really, "Twilight" was originally suppose to premiere in theaters on the 12th of December!). Wonder what he'll do? Some Karate moves maybe? I know I'd like to see his abs in action...

5 Eclipse Facts!

Fact #1: It’s Darker

The brand new poster for Eclipse (above) hints at a darker tone with its brooding storm clouds. With 30 Days of Night director David Slade at the helm, it’s unsurprising. “Every movie is different because we work with a different director on each one, which I love,” Taylor Lautner tells RT. “David Slade is perfect for the third film because it’s darker. Eclipse was my favourite book.”

Ashley Greene, who plays vampire Alice, tells RT that Slade isn’t just a prince of darkness. “David is actually hysterical,” she laughs, “He has such a dry sense of humour that sometimes you don’t know if he’s kidding or not. Eclipse will be amazing because he has made it far edgier and more dramatic. It’s going to look very cool.”

Fact #2: There Will Be Less “Love Story” and More “War”

“Eclipse isn’t as intimate as Twilight or New Moon,” Robert Pattinson explains to us. “We’re at war, so I get to interact with more characters, not just Kristen. You’ll also find out more about the other members of the Cullen family. It just feels bigger.” But — fear not, Twihards — that isn’t to say the love story is cast aside altogether. “New Moon set up a love triangle with Bella, Edward and Jacob,” says Lautner. “So we explore that further in Eclipse. It’s a tough situation for all of them because Bella is torn between two guys, Jacob can’t get the girl that he loves and then there’s Edward, with all of his issues.”

New Moon = AMAZING!

I saw New Moon yesterday and it was amazing! I'm not even kidding, the CG was wonderful, the cast was wonderful (except Kristen) and the director kept his promise that he would do an awesome job with the movie. If you haven't seen the movie yet, DO, even if you have to wait in line for six hours--like I did--it was completely worth it! Now, for some news: Robert visited Ellen for the second time on Friday (aired on Friday), a lot has changed since the first time he visited her last year. See for yourself:

What was your favorite thing about Chris Weitz and how was his interpretation of the books different from Catherine Hardwicke? - Mira N.

My favorite thing about Chris Weitz: everything. Sounds hyperbole-ish, but he's really that amazing. If you follow along on some of the cast interviews you'll hear the same thing over and over. We all adore Chris. I would have to say that my very favorite thing about Chris as a director, coming from my unique position, is his passion for being true to the source material. He really immersed himself in the Twilight world and came to the set with the feel of it already in his head. We were very much on the same page. Second thing, he listens really well—to everybody, cast and crew.

In comparing New Moon to Twilight, I would say that the biggest difference in style is that Chris is more classic while Catherine is a little more edgy and modern. I wouldn't want both movies to be the same, though. I like seeing different interpretations. After all, no two people see the same thing when they read a novel. I enjoy seeing that visually.

NEW YORK – In the Twilight sequel New Moon, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner are at each other’s throats over Kristen Stewart. Off screen, all three are loyal friends. In a candid interview with this week’s Entertainment Weekly, they share thoughts on rumors, fans, moviemaking – and hair.

Below is a portion of the Q&A:

EW: How are you all coping with living in a fishbowl?

Robert Pattinson: It really depends on the mood. When I met you last year [before Twilight came out], I was doing interviews very sporadically and I never got recognized. Now it’s like anywhere I go there’s immediate recognition. So there’s more of a responsibility…

Stewart: I don’t mind working every day. It’s just, suddenly, I have this other role. And that’s really disappointing. All I’d like to do is go outside with a book and figure out what to do with the day. And if I can’t do that, then I’m just going to sit in my hotel room on my balcony and chain smoke. [Pauses] I’m going to stop smoking. I’m not such a good smoker, anyway. It’s not in my bones. I’m gonna drop it.

Pattinson: The three of us have been working for two years [straight]. It does feel like your day has a shape just as soon as you wake up. I just forget what it’s like when you’re free.

Hey Twi-Hards. Apologies to all for not posting! I've been incredibly busy and yadda yadda yadda...anyway, here's a post from Stephenie on her site:

Hi everybody!

I wanted to apprise you all of a few upcoming things.

You know I’ve been doing the hermit thing this last year, in so far as media is concerned, and I’m not changing that now, but I am making an exception. I’m doing this for a good reason: I am so pleased and amazed and thrilled with what Chris Weitz has done with New Moon that I want to talk about it, and to show my support for him. And since I’m only doing one interview, better make it big. Really big. So….I will be on The Oprah Winfrey Show on Friday, November 13th. Check the local listings on Oprah’s website to find out what time it will be on where you live.

Of course, most of the questions for Oprah will be designed for a broader audience than just die-hard Twilight fans, and I imagine people who read this site and other fansites will already know most of the answers. To rectify this, I’m going to answer your more specific questions on-line. The official Twilight Saga website (www.TheTwilightSaga.com) will be taking any New Moon movie-related questions you might have for me, and then I’ll answer those most frequently asked. I’ll post the answers on the Twilight Saga website and also here on my own site. Questions can be submitted to TheTwilightSaga.com from noon (Eastern Standard Time) on Monday, November 9th through noon Tuesday, November 10th. The answers will be posted Monday, November 16th—or New Moon Premiere Day, as it is known around my house. Eclipse Photos: Shooting Riley Scene

Here are a few pics from the set of Eclipse, Xavier Samuel (Riley) is taken pictures of shooting an opening to where Riley meets Victoria and she bites him:

This is Xavier Samuel on Wednesday night shooting Twilight Eclipse soaking wet, filming in the fake rain over and over again. My source tells me he’s wearing a wetsuit under those clothes to stay dry/warm(er). This is why he appears to be a little more robust. As you’ve seen from his candids, Samuel is rather slight.

Here’s a juicy detail:

I’m told exclusively that Xavier is working on what’s currently intended (at press time) to be the OPENING SCENE in Eclipse. “Riley” in human form is being terrorised down an alley in Seattle pursued by a sinister shadow which turns out to be “Victoria”. He cannot outrun her, she attacks him, and as you can see from the exclusive video below (from PUNKD Images) he writhes in pain from being bitten.

• The second goes on sale tomorrow, October 6, 2009: The Twilight Saga: New Moon--The Official Illustrated Movie Companion. I have not seen this book yet, but the Twilight edition was very impressive. It is a great way to get even more excited about the movie (only 45 days left!)
• Finally, next week (October 13th) we have two more items going on sale: New Moon Collector's Edition (to match the Twilight Collector's Edition) and The Twilight Journals, both of which would make good gifts, in my opinion.

OME!!! I am hyperventilating right now!!!!! Look what Steph just wrote on her site:

Hey guys, great news! The Host is on its way to the big screen! I'm so excited to be working with Nick Weschler, and Steve and Paula Mae Schwartz to bring The Host to a visual format. They've all been a dream to work with, so lovely and collaborative, and I feel like we're in a really good place to make a great movie together. And then to have Andrew Niccol writing and directing? Truly awesome. If you've never seen Gattaca, go watch it now. One of my favorite movies of all time. It's such a great example of character driven science fiction, which is ideal for The Host, no? I'm having an absolute blast imagining different dream casts, which I would post if people didn't take my silly blogs so seriously these days. I'm looking forward to seeing the cast lists you come up with in the fansite forums, and if any of them match mine.

"Twilight" has made Catherine Hardwicke win a world record:

When it comes to some of the biggest movies of the decade, Guinness World
Records has it covered. JJ Abram’s re-imagination of Star Trek made it into
this year’s book as the “Most Downloaded Movie Trailer (24 Hours)” with 1.8
million downloads on Apple.com in the first day and more than five million in
its first five days of release. Twilight, directed by Catherine Hardwicke, has
captured the hearts and wallets of millions while claiming the record for
“Highest-Grossing Movie By A Female Director”.
